Charity begins at home. We at Kurg believe that if the change has to be made, one has to start at the base. Sustainability is our priority and we make sure that from the bottom to the very top, we focus on protecting mother nature at all costs.
The time calls for sustainable fashion. Our natural resources need to be preserved in order to maintain the ecological balance. Kurg is speeding toward this sustainable fashion movement, trying to champion the usage of sustainable fabrics.
While the industry is ever-demanding of good-quality and high-end fabrics, taking product-level initiatives at Kurg to use and grow fabrics that are less harmful to the environment is always a priority. So as to ensure that nothing goes to waste from our manufacturing, we use recycled fabrics in order to play our part in popularizing eco-friendly sustainable fashion. Further, we also incorporate FSC-Viscose, BCI Cottons, Organic, and Lenzing fabrics. Using such sustainably grown fabrics, we are able to make about 7 lakh pieces of Garments.
With sustainability, we also have to move with the demand of the international market. So, in keeping with the times and for the protection of our clients and customers, we are now incorporating Anti-Microbial and Antibacterial fabrics into our business.
As the saying goes, charity begins at home; we have to think differently also if we want our consumers to think differently, which means a change in strategies and ways is necessary. It is our social responsibility to work with our fashionable products, our industry towards the realization of ecological integrity. As producers, we strongly believe a producer and a retailer are under obligation to take responsibility for the social and environmental cost of clothes. Kurg is endlessly working on achieving ecological balance since we have only one Mother Earth.
